PURCHASING A STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER PUPPY:
For me, raising Staffordshire
Bull Terrier puppies is a demanding and time-consuming hobby.
It is
not a business. I am a responsible breeder whose goal is
quality rather than quantity. I generally receive many more inquiries than
I have puppies available. When possible, I try to make referrals to
other breeders who may have puppies.

All of my puppies come with age-appropriate shots, health records from my vet, AKC registration materials, four-generation pedigree, the SBTCA Code of Ethics, an SBTCA Membership Application, and a 30 day unconditional money-back guarantee (below). All of my puppies have been de-wormed and have had age-appropriate vaccinations. I generally sell my puppies outright, with no "strings" attached, though occasionally other terms may be negotiated. My goals are simply to utilize my experience and knowledge of the breed to produce quality puppies. In any given litter, I always anticipate that there will be some "show quality" pups, but I have found that it is simply not practical to accurately predict the show potential of a puppy at the age of 8 weeks, when most are placed in their new homes. Therefore, I do not attempt to guarantee the show potential of an 8 week old puppy. I encourage anyone who is serious about obtaining a show dog to consider an older puppy (at least 6 months) or young adult. I am more concerned that my puppies are placed in quality homes than with whether or not they are shown. On the other hand, I am always happy to share my opinions and encouragement to anyone interested in showing.
Most of my correspondence is managed through email. I usually have established contact with prospective buyers well in advance of a litter. When a litter of pups has been born, I will send notification and pictures via email to interested parties. At that time, available puppies can be reserved with a $100 deposit. The balance is due at 8 weeks, or when the new owners pick the puppy up. I am located in Georgia, near Augusta. Unfortunately, it is not logistically practical for me to ship puppies as air cargo. I have in the past worked with buyers who were able to fly in to Atlanta to pick up a puppy and take it home as carry-on baggage. This, of course, entails additional costs that are not included in the purchase price.
